Museums are related to research which is related to what I write about, so I HAD to include this one. Okay, that was pretty tenuous, but seriously, I just love FREE. The Smithsonian is sponsoring “Museum Day” on September 27, 2008, when all visitors will be admitted free to hundreds of museums and cultural venues nationwide. You have to present an admission card, found here. The list of participating venues is quite comprehensive and includes some of the most popular museums around. The Massachusetts list includes the Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Science. Free, fun and enriching – nothing wrong with that combination!
