From poor writers to obsessive multi-taskers, today’s topic on Advocate’s Studio appears to be student performance in institutions of higher learning.  This is a fantastic interview with John Palfrey and Urs Gasser, both legal educators, about their new book Born Digital: Understanding the First Generation of Digital Natives (Basic Books, 2008). The interview covers the generation gap between students and their professors, the impact of technology and differences in how modern students are learning. I won’t even try to paraphrase but I will urge anyone interested in the future of education and rapidly-changing learning fundamentals to follow the link.
