It's Not the ABA Top 100 Blawgs

But I do still feel honored anyway. I finally have gotten around to getting Advocate’s Studio listed in the American Bar Association’s Blawg Directory. Here is the link to my directory site.

I am honored and privileged to assume the mantel of responsibility inclusion in such a prestigious directory has placed upon my shoulders. Six short months ago, when I started writing in the Studio, my first source of inspiration was this list, offering hundreds of examples of excellent writing with a legal bent.

I promise to maintain the same fine quality and quantity of legal writing, research and tech news to my steadfast readers and to any new ones who might find me by virtue of inclusion on this list.

Oh, and I would like to thank my mom and dad for the unending support.

TechnoLawyer's Top Ten iPhone Shortcuts For Lawyers

I am reporting on this here not because I am a lawyer and have an iPhone and I am looking for shortcuts. I am reporting on this here because I am a lawyer and I might be getting an iPhone and will be looking for shortcuts.

Technolawyer’s latest e-mail issue includes a link to these handy tips on getting more out of your iPhone so that you can spend less time (yea, right) playing with it.  Find it on-line here. Author and attorney Jeff Richardson talks about adding commas, scrolling to the top, domain resolution, resetting the phone, holding down on the screen for more options, swiping to delete, switching by tapping the bottom corner, suggestive type, getting a 3G signal, and quickly quieting your phone while in court.

There is bound to be something in this list you didn’t know. I didn’t know any of these tips because I don’t yet have my iPhone, but I am hopeful. Christmas is coming and I have been a VERY good girl this year.
