WebNotes – Streamlining Web Research & Recall
WebNotes, the brainchild of a group of MIT alums, is a highlighter and sticky note tool that offers the on-line researcher the ability to annotate, cite and take notes right on the source while perusing the internet. This web-based application loads as a browser toolbar that can be minimized or maximized with a click. There are scads of nice features in this agile tool, including the ability to keep track of notes, bookmark items a browser or bookmarking site, handwrite notes, search annotations and sources and publish notes to a group. Right now, WebNotes is only available as an invite-only beta, so head over to Tech.Blorge for a great hands-on review and the chance to score an invite. Or go to WebNotes site to try out their demo.
