Perhaps because people really seem to like the simple, colorful graphical presentation found in infographics, services are now popping up to feed the addiction. I talked about Vizualize.me – the service that allows you to create an infographic from your LinkedIn profile. Check out Visual.ly – a place to explore, share and promote great visual aids. There are almost 3,000 infographics currently on the site, with a search box for infographics by designer or publisher or topic. Each entry can be liked, shared, or commented upon.
They even have a tool for creating infographics in the works. At this time, it is limited to a visualization based on your Twitter data – mine is not that far off either, as can be seen below. For sure, it is a fun way to spend some Web crawling time – you might even find some interesting data and beautiful design.
